It was love at first sight when Charlie and Patti first set eyes on Islander. She's the perfect charter yacht. An Irwin 46 center cockpit staysail ketch designed for island hopping in luxury. The over-all length is 50 feet not counting the sport dinghy hanging by the stern on davits. She weighs in at 33,000lbs for comfortable, safe cruising and is powered by a 62 HP Perkins Diesel. Three of the four sails are self-tacking for ease of handling; she's a gentleman's yacht.

Islander has been lovingly maintained with all systems updated including all new standing rigging for reliability. She has an Onan 7kw generator. The cockpit has a full enclosure for your protection with ample seating on comfortable cushions.

THE MAIN CABIN LOOKING FORWARD FROM COACH-CLASS QUARTERS
When you step down the companionway into the main cabin you'll be surrounded by hand finished teak throughout, brass oil lamps, and beautiful furnishings making a lovely ambiance for dining and entertainment. On the right is a sunken galley complete with a deep freezer and refrigerator with double sinks, propane four-burner stove and oven, and a snack bar. On the left is a navigation station complete with RADAR, GPS, SSB, VHF, NAVTEX, and a computer with weather fax reception. It's a complete navigation and weather prediction station. We can also send and receive emails aboard Islander through SSB radio! There is a TV in the main cabin with a nice collection of movies. On the right are two comfortable swivel armchairs with a reading light and a stereo. There is a cocktail table on the left that converts to a full dining table with seating for six along an L-shaped settee and two arm chairs.
