virgin islands sailing charter vacation in bvi and day sails from St Thomas
sailing vacation map

SATURDAY NOON: We can meet you in St Thomas, Roadtown or Trellis Bay.

After lunch and a yacht briefing, we'll sail to a secluded anchorage where

you can get relief from the hustle and bustle of your hectic flight.

Unwind, swim, snorkel, and explore the natural beauty of the islands.
St John on our way from a St Thomas pickup has the most pristine harbors.
Enjoy a sun-downer while dinner is prepared for you.

SUNDAY:

You choose the mix of secluded romantic coves, snorkeling, sunbathing or

highstepping to an island band in a relaxed day by day pace.
Perhaps we could make a stop at another pristine St John anchorage for a day of
dinghy sailing, hiking, snorkeling.
A stroll on the beach after sun down might be the romantic activity you signed
on for. Use the rowing dinghy to quietly and romantically take your mate to
shore.

MONDAY:

After a walk on the beach, swimming and breakfast, we could set sail for Great

Harbor in Jost Van Dyke. It's your vacation... we take care of all details, your

job is to relax and have fun!

Visit the famous Foxy's, snorkel the local reefs or do some dinghy

sailing around the harbor. Make reservations for dinner at Foxy's. With any

luck, Foxy himself will be there with his guitar to entertain!

TUESDAY:

We could sail over to Norman's Island to explore the famous underwater caves.

Normans is said to be Robert Lewis Stevenson's Treasure Island! Snorkel,

swim, beachcomb, sail on the dinghy, or relax on deck and enjoy the scenery.

Later on that evening, visit Billy Bones and sample some of the local island

drinks or just watch the sun set behind the mountains.

Enjoy dinner aboard Islander al fresco in the cockpit under the stars.

It's all yours to savor, followed by a romantic walk on the beach.

WEDNESDAY:

We could leave the next morning and stop at Peter Island for lunch.

Next port-of-call is the famous Baths in Virgin Gorda. Bring your camera and

bathing suit as you explore the huge boulders and swim in the warm pools.

From there we could dock or anchor by Spanish town just a couple of miles

of sailing to the north. Enjoy the gift shops, drinkeries and charm of this small

town.

THURSDAY:

Next day we sail north to Virgin Gorda Sound for some spectacular snorkeling

in the reefs, dinghy sailing in the Sound and visiting some of the local cafes

and shops. We can sail over to Marina Cay on the North side of Tortola for more

snorkeling, dinghy sailing and sight-seeing. A visit to the tropical gardens in

Marina Cay is a must. Bring your camera to the Cafe at the top of the hill for

spectacular pictures of the area.

FRIDAY:

On day six we could do a great down-wind sail on the North side of Tortola with

a lunch stop at Cane Garden Bay. Jimmy Buffet, in one of his songs, sings

about Cane Garden Bay... beautiful tropical paradise.

From Cane Garden Bay it's a short 2 mile sail to your own deserted

island... Sandy Cay. Swim or dinghy ashore from Islander's anchorage

and walk on the beach around this tiny deserted island.

Hurry, hurry, there's more to see and do! Let's sail over to Soper's Hole in

Tortola and enjoy one of the treasures of BVI. Beautiful, quaint little village

with shops and water-side outdoor restaurants and calypso bands playing

while you have dinner outside in this charming tropical paradise.

SATURDAY:

On your last day we sail down Sir Francis Drake Channel and back to St Thomas.

A vacation you will long remember.
